- Van WHighly recommended! Don’t waste your money renting tools at the park. No outrageous deposit required and there is no time limit for how long you want to use the tools. We got a shovel, 2 buckets, 2 shifting screens and most importantly and cart to move around the field for around $30. Also believe it or not they are open 24/7, if they are closed just call the number and they will help you. The owner lives just down the road from the shop.
DevonThis isn't our first time to crater of diamonds. We didn't get to use the equipment we reserved. A bad storm rolled through and we decided the crater of diamonds was unsafe for our kids. The previous day we looked through the various mining kits and they had a good variety of choices and prices. The woman attending to us was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped us pick out a package that had the things we needed. We had some screens and gem sieves but we needed a couple more for our group. We chose a package with a wagon, 2 screens, a gem sieve, and a canopy that covers an area for shade. We were able to add 2 chairs for a few $ more. Really good looking equipment from what I saw. Will definitely be back here to get my supplies for my next visit.
- Sonya BWe stopped in Arkansas overnight to break up our road-trip to Tennessee and decided to we would visit diamond crater park to dig for diamonds with the kiddos. Cindy was a joy to meet, & gave great advice on our adventure ahead! We were supplied with a canopy/sunshade, a wagon, two buckets, two trowels, mesh shifting screens, and plenty of great advice and suggestions on how to find our diamonds! There was no time limit to the supply rental so we were able to enjoy our time in its entirety and take advantage of the park. Will definitely stop by again soon now that we have a better idea of what to do! Thanks again! Highly highly recommend this place if you will be in the area for mining!
